Book a Session

Ready to Work?

I work best with actors who come prepared, are open to direct and specific feedback, and want to improve.

Two Ways to Start

For the introductory session, you have the choice of:

Option 1

Introductory Evaluation (75 minutes)

When I was a manager, I'd give potential clients 2 scenes to prepare. They'd come into my office about a week later and we'd do the scenes. I'd provide feedback and we'd work on the scenes together.

When auditions switched to self-tapes, I'd send them 2 scenes. I'd give them a week to work on them, then they'd send me 2 self-tapes. I'd watch the tapes, provide feedback, and then we'd set up a Zoom meeting to work on the scenes together.

After going through this process with each potential client, I had to make the difficult decision of whether to offer management.

Today, I've adapted this process for My Audition Coach.

The Introductory Evaluation includes:

  1. The Introductory Evaluation begins with a 15-minute Type and Goals consultation. This video call will allow us to discuss your goals, your current audition process, and whether continuing coaching together is the right fit.
  2. Two TV/film scenes chosen for you based on your type and goals
  3. One-hour video call to work on both scenes, focusing on choices and techniques that I think would help you book the roles if you were actually auditioning for them
  4. A written summary of the session, including your strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future coaching

Option 2

Introductory Audition Coaching (75 minutes)

If you're preparing for an upcoming audition, we can use that as your introductory coaching session.

The Introductory Audition Coaching includes the following:

  1. 75 minutes to work on your audition. If there's enough time before your audition is due, we can schedule an initial 15-minute video call to discuss the sides and discuss strategy. Then we can have a 60-minute session to work. If you wish, the last 15 minutes of the work session can be devoted to recording your self-tape. For the best quality, you'll want to set up a second camera or phone on a tripod at home so you can record locally in high definition while I read with you. This gives you a clean, high-quality recording to edit and submit after our session.
  2. A written summary of the session, including your strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future coaching

These are two alternative introductory options. New clients choose one based on their current needs. After your introductory session, future coaching is billed at the regular rates below.
